GAQM Paused; Secondary SO2 NAAQS Proceeds

Bill Jones, President of Blue Sky Modeling and an occasional contributer, recently shared the following update from the modeling world of interest to NSR practitioners. Here's what he had to say:

January 28, 2025, was supposed to be the day that the new Guideline for Air Quality Models (GAQM) went into effect, but that’s been put on hold for 60 days as part of the “let’s pause and take a look at new rules” from the new Administration.  On the other hand, the Secondary SO2 NAAQS escaped this pause so it’s in effect now.
